General information about the 1-day course:

Whether customized products or the production of small series "on demand" and without overproduction. 3D printing opens up new ways of rethinking our products and their development processes. This course focuses on the wealth of opportunities and challenges that additive manufacturing brings to product development.

Course overview

This course is aimed at industrial companies with their own development department, design agencies, architects and craftsmen who manufacture their own products.

Possible applications of additive manufacturing are conveyed, from brainstorming and concept development to the production of series parts and individual items. Explanation of the specific design challenges and possibilities when using process-relevant 3D printing technologies.

Why is this course important for you?
Learn why FDM is widely used in the world of 3D printing. The course covers a wide range of topics, from the materials that can be used in this process to the technical principles and the printing process itself.
Practical experience:
  • Introduction to the printing systems
  • Practical exercises with various FDM printers
  • Setting up and operating the machines
  • Prepare data for the printing process (slicer settings, support structures)
  • Preparation and maintenance work on the printer
  • Final finishing of the printed objects
  • Creation of an individual wall panel (included in the price)
