The focus is on the design guidelines for production-oriented design in the various additive processes. Participants learn how to design components efficiently and functionally for 3D printing.

Course overview

This 3D printing training course will give you a comprehensive overview of the most important additive manufacturing processes and common materials. You will learn about the design possibilities offered by 3D printing and how these differ depending on the process. The basic theoretical knowledge is reinforced with practical examples to facilitate application in everyday working life.

Finally, you will have the opportunity to discuss your own design examples from your working environment with the speaker. Under expert guidance, you will design your components for 3D printing and optimize them for additive manufacturing
